Hey guys!
This is a character started working on recently.
He is supposed to be a soul jailer and he's quite big!
I have posted most of the updates on zbrushcentral,but i want to get as much crit as possible because i want this to be one of my best characters.
I'm working on this character every day for about 1-2 hours,so updates should come in pretty frequently.
I'm still working on the sculpt and polypainting. There's not much left until i'm done with this stage so soon enough i will be starting the low poly version.

Very impressive work overall, though. His face is just completely disgusting, and that's a good thing.
things to improve though as said before i would definately put some more detail onto the belt and pauldron, they seem to stick out by being too flat. Maybe some carvings on the pauldron and some notches/holes in the belt, maybe even a buckle of some kind.

ENODMI Nope,the belt is just a placeholder.It will be decorated with broken bones snapped with bolts. I'll post a concept in a moment. Thanks

popngear Thanks! The stitching is intended to look kinda different from the leather cap he has. That's because he has created this accessories himself from different kind of leathers. The belly button is not detailed yet ahhaah

I guess when I think of a fat arm I think of something like this:

The arms and legs on your model look like they were once fat before, but have quickly lost weight or shriveled up leaving the wrinkly skin behind. That's kind of cool in another way, but didn't seem to match the rest of the body to me. It's probably not a big deal though.
Massive changes in this version. Arm's wrinkles are less evident and more smoothed,belly pops out,smaller belt and more accessories!
The ribcage and other bones are just base meshes so far,let me know what you guys think.
I'm aiming towards 15k-20k polys. That should be enough ehehe
I think it would be cool to see a little additional work to the chest on his back. Maybe a padlock & metal handles similar to this image

I'm baking some nmaps and ao,still there are some objects missing! I will try to get them baked by tomorrow so i can start texturing asap
Here's the current progress on the low poly! It's about 19.000 tris so far!
I will start reducing tomorrow to save some for the weapon and the spirits within the cages.

Does any of you use 3pointshader? if so,is there a way to enable double sided polys? I can do that manually with xoliul's shader.
