Apache Tomahawk

I am pretty new to 3D art I have about 4 months experience.

I felt like making a tomahawk, though it does not have a whole bunch of detail I think I did OK.

your scratches don't feel right, there wouldn't be scratches on the edge, maybe some chips there, and scratches more along the side of the head in the direction of the swings

As mentioned, the scratches do not look natural and appears a lot higher in contrast and really forced. Instead you should imply gradual impressions that are a lot more subtle and pushed through your spec map.

A lot of these worn axes and hatchets don't really have clear scratches, instead there is discoloration and some dullness in parts of the blade.
