Hi, does anyone know about types of cameras for RPG games?
Today, not only uses isometric camera, an example is Diablo 3.
Was wondering if anyone knows what kind of camera that is used by them, and if possible the configuration they use.
Your chart there seems to cover it pretty well. I guess I'm not sure what your asking. Model and animate what you need to while keeping what kind of camera configuration the game is using in mind. If it's oblique, for example, you'll need to make sure the tops of your models are up to snuff and worry less about the parts that aren't so noticable. That's not to say don't do a good job on it all, just don't waste resources. That's my two cents at least.
Ok ok ,for exemple, http://www.pixelpilot.dk/isometric.htm , this is a perfect isometric cam, i want create a camera like diablo3 or similar. I search and found some camera types(attach in firt post) but i dont know which one is most appropriate and how to configure
