Buying framed prints.

Hey so I'm working a sort of last minute christmas present for my parents. It's a digital art piece that I'm going to get printed and framed. So I'm wondering where to get that done. All I know is that deviantart has a service. But I don't know if you can get anything you post to be printed. Are there any other services out there? Nothing fancy on the frame. Just solid black and simple. As cheap as possible really.

I think I saw an ad for a sale on framing at Michael's, not sure if its still happening but might be worth checking it out.

Doesn't matter if they don't do frames. When I last printed a piece of work large, I got the print done at a printing shop and stored it in a cardboard tube whilst I found a nice frame for it elsewhere.

If there are Michaels or AC Moore craft stores near you, go to one of those and see what size frames they have as default. Custom Framing is incredibly expensive, so, since you have control over the print, you can instead find a frame size that comes standard (ie 24x36) and then print to that size.

Kinkos does an ok job but typically your local independent printers are going to provide better prices with equal or better quality.

Usually around the holiday season you can find coupons for 60-75% framing at Michaels.
