Seeking 2D Game Artist

[FONT=&quot]Our Vancouver Studio, in the heart of Yaletown, is seeking a passionate 2D Artist to work on a variety art assets. This future team member will need to be highly proficient in both Photoshop and Flash for the production of 2D game art. The candidate will also be able to handle multiple projects and show an eagerness to accommodate design feedback and revisions.[/FONT]

A little about the role:[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Creation of vector and raster art assets for 2D casual games[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Taking direction from the Art Lead and Game Designer and bringing those concepts to life [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Thinking creatively and providing feedback for the Art Lead and Game Designer[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Production tasks will include backgrounds, characters, props, special effects, and UI elements[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Working with a team of artists while maintaining a consistent look and feel for a project[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Managing time, communicating estimates and task status to appropriate stake-holders[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to jump from style to style: From lighthearted Flash cartoon to highly detailed painted Photo shop scenes[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Skills, attributes and experience you should bring to the table:[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Bachelors degree in Art preferred[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]3+ years of applicable work experience[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Extremely fluent in and efficient with PhotoShop [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Extremely fluent in and efficient with Flash[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Solid demonstrated mastery of composition and lighting[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Demonstrated experience with the full creative cycle on software product[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Excellent teamwork and communication skills in a rapidly changing dev environment[/FONT]
