Going back Wed night or anything? After 9:00 ? Going to both awards ceremonies so wont be leaving GDC wednight till then.
We actually ran into a slight issue and didn't make it to Lefty's tonight. Kinda got caught up at the party at the Mariott. But I would totally be down to hang tomorrow night or whenever this weekend. We visited Lefty's just about every night last year, and I have no problem doing the same this year.
So yeah, sorry we kinda bailed on our own thing there.
Heh, finally got the free time to swing up to the area and meet you guys (not having a job and all)... and I'm heading outta town on Wednesday to visit some family.... and my car's in the shop getting some tasty upgrades, so I can't even manage the ride up. XD
Yeah so I vote for leftys at 830-900ish on wed. That way if people are going to the awards or the GA meetup they can make it. I'm a bit biased, it was a nice place for last year and its its right next to my hotel so I wont have to stagger too far :poly142:

Oh man. I was looking for a jack in the box today. I'm over at the Holliday inn civic center so leftys is a few blocks but I don't mind the walk. I'll be wearin my greentooth shirt so I should be easy to spot.

Quick shout out - just wondering if there was any polycounter at the microsoft party wearing a polycount hoody, I was gonna come up to you but when I tried to get up to get another drink, dood was gone.

Overall GDC was awesome, and San Fran is just mind blowing. Would hate to live there (too big and busy for me) but for a trip, maaaan was it awesome.
yeah. also missed the meetup kinda. was at leftys but i left around 11:30.. heard everyone got there at 12. saw one guy wearing green greentooth shirt (the one with the BIG face), but wasnt sure whether or not to approach. XD but regardless it was good being at GDC and i think ill definitely be going back
Was awesome to meet everyone, shout outs to Chris Holden, konstruct, Gav, gauss and Vitaliy amongst others... sorry I wasn't able to make the rounds properly, I was overwhelmed by the number of people there!
I just wanted to drop in to thank those of you who came to the Polycount meet up. It was great to finally meet the people behind the art. I just wish I had a little more time to stay and chat with everyone who was there. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the time that I was able to squeeze in and I look forward to seeing you guys again next year.
