Hey guys,

I revisted an assignment I did for school about a month ago, just to kind of get it as finised as I possibly could. I'm still not 100% happy with it, but I don't really want to work on it any more, got kind of bored with it. Anyway, I was just tweaking it to get it somewhat ready to post on my personal site, which is not really a portfolio site per se, but instead a place where I'll be posting my progress while I'm in school.

Anyway, have a look, any comments and crits are always appreciated!

Looks really cool! The skull shape seems a bit odd to me though.

Thanks for the crits, tey do look a bit odd to me as well, kinda overly stylized. Although I have kinda grown to like them...I will def make adjustments in the next one.

Also, the 'strappings' on the spears, skulls and wooden posts are rather bland to me. Anybody know a 'quick' way to make things look a bit more like rope(or makeshift rope)?

you could actually high poly model the rope out, or find a script that does it, or just build your normal in photoshop. Using Max or Maya?

I tend to use max more for modeling but I'm fairly comfortable with both. I was thinking about sculpting in some details for the rope but Im not sure I built it to sub'd well....
