Hey quick question for everyone.
In Maya, is there anyway to get vertex blending between two different textures to work w/o the need for a programmed CGFX shader? So far, the closest lead I've found said something about plugging in the CPV (color per vet) from the mesh node in the Hypershade into a layered texture's alpha or into the Blend Color's...blend? input. I've had no luck. Blending in Maya it's self has so far eluded me.
If not, I know there are a few links to some CGFX shaders in the wiki that I'll probably use and see if they render in Mental Ray as that's what I need them for.

Edit: At 30eu ($40 ish us) for a professional license its not too bad for what it does. 10eu for personal license.
