I've been meaning to add more diffuse only work to my portfolio- so here's the start- Voodoo-Crow Joe. I'm still touching things up atm on his texture. His scythe is still in progress as well. I think Im going to add some smaller magic pouches and some sort of design to his bag o tricks. I'll also be pushing some verts around to make some angles more wonky- crits and thoughts appreciated

I'm not familiar with this character, or if you came up with this character on your own, but I want to see his hat leaning or the brim wave. The hat is very straight at the moment and I don't think that fits the cartoony style the texture has.

I *love* the texture. The green light down on his chest is awesome. Reminds me of burton stop-motion characters.

Yeah, pretty cool, but the hat is too straight.

And since you have the great glow on the chest, why not put some under the brim too?

Love the character design. Simple and clean but still interesting. Cool color pallet. Would definitely make for a great hack and slasher side scrolling platforming puzzle minigame mystery game...

thanks for the feedback guys- here's some progress- lightened him up a tad and added things mentioned- also added some burlap texture to some parts of him. still tweaking stuff- C&C welcome.

He looks great, but I think you could put some dirt and scratches... :poly124:
An extra glow somewhere would be a nice touch too...

Thanks guys I've been dragging my feet to completely finish this one- here's the final model and texture sheet- he and the scythe are under 3k he has a 512x2 and the scythe is a 256x512 diffuse only- any final crits/suggestions welcomed-
