Folk beliefs say that the wood goblin is the master of the woods. All animals, even bears, submit to him. The wood goblin has a strong hypnotic power, thus he is not afraid of any animal.....
it seems that local residents have already found a common language with the yetis they leave candies for them and communicate with them mentally yetis are believed to be telepathic.
Well the real issue here is what kind of technology do the Yeti have at their disposal?
Have they developed a culture up in the Russian Wilderness?
What kind of resistance will the bears come across?
How big are the bears?
Do the Yeti have any form of projectile weapon emplacements?
EDIT: For the record, I'm Pro-Yeti. I don't normally take sides in politics, but as far as I've seen Yeti are gentle giants, whilst bears rummage through our trash and eat our honey. That is not to say, of course, that a Yeti couldn't throw down if the situation called for it.
Have any of you seen that Canadian Documentary 'Project Grizzly'?
It's the Greatest piece of Canadian Cinema ever created. It's a documentary about a redneck who built a suit to fight a Grizzly bear, and over an hour of footage of his friends doing redneck tricks to him in his suit... like hitting him with his truck, pushing him over a cliff, and chopping down logs from trees onto him.
