3ds Max, render to texture stops working

Hi,

I'm having a weird problem with Max. Yesterday I rendered normal maps and AO maps without any trouble and now that I try to do the same thing, RTT wont work - when I press Render, it claims on the status bar that "Texture baking completed" instantly and of course nothing is actually baked.

Any idea what causes this and how to fix it?

    If you have used Textools it may be affected the node properties of your low poly.

    The fix is easy, create a box, attach your low poly to the box, then delete the box's verts. This sorts out the node propperties and it should work again. I have had the same thing happen before.

    I did use it and it did cross my mind that the problem came after that... Thank you for the tip, it will be very valuable next time. This time I just went brutally backwards a few saves and redid the missing stuff - oh well, just about a half an hour extra work :P
