I'm modeling a part of a weapon, and I realize I'm having a tough time figuring out a proportions problem

Top left is the culprited part, top right is a screencap from a video which I'm using for reference, and bottom is proof that it is the right width and such.
It seems fine to me, except the "bar" thingy at the bottom doesn't fit the way it should, and I can't tell how to fix it. All of the other parts seem to be the right width.
And yes, the arch seems to be a different position relative to the grip than what the photo shows, but that was the result of tracing another shot from the same video.
Increasing the width of the bar is out of the question because that would make it look too wide.
Can anyone help?

Looking at your past posts, I see this one, which points to a youtube vid, which has ortho wireframes and viewport tumbles of the model. Those should give you enough info to repro the model.
