Crazy videogame facts amonst other things...

Okay, so I was perusing the neogaf forums the other day and found a thread which contained a plethora of random video game facts and other crazy stuff. Some interesting ones:



The bushes are recoloured clouds (or vice versa).

Five of the quest dungeons in Zelda 2 spell out "Zelda".



Up until last week, for 15 years I always thought Donkey Kong Country 2 was subtitled "Diddy Kong's Quest". Well..........



Diddy's KONG-quest.

In "Dunk Hunt", you could control the ducks flight path.



And.......remember Mario Sunshine?

The area layout is an inverted N64 controller. I was hoping it was going to be something dirty, but no - just a controller.

Fun (possible) fact: Legend has it that Mario was named after Shigeru Miyamoto's Italian landlord at the time.

The Zelda thing is old, along with Diddy's Kong Quest. The Mario Sunshine one I didn't know because I never played it. And the Duck Hunt thing was a fight starter around my neighborhood.

I still, to this day, don't understand why the Duck Hunt thing is a surprise. It's in the instruction manual. I've told that to countless people and they're blown away.

I always borrowed the zapper and duck hunt from friends and never bothered with the manual. That probably goes for a lot of people.
