Maya is inverting bump mapping on mirrored geometry.

Hi Guys,

FIrst post here and still a very, very new user to Maya and 3D modelling.

I'm working on an assessment that is due quite soon, my model is done, texture is done as is lighting and camera set up.

I modelled half the vehicle, UV unwrapped it, textured it and added bump mapping. Now, when I duplicate the original half, combine the mesh and render the model, the bump mapping on the DUPLICATED HALF is inverted. Which means it goes out, instead of in.

I simply can not fix this.

Please, please, tell me there is an easy fix for this.
