Hey all,
I'm working on a new environment and I came across in render settings go to Renderer tab > Volume > Beam Lume and Mist Lume. This is more of a curiosity thing.
Is there a way to have both those active in a scene at one time?
My other questions is based on this tutorial.

For the stairs. I'm trying to match his effect of having the dirt "piled up" and keep it low rez. This person doesn't show his end wire.
Is the dirt part a normal map in the final model? or is it modeled into the low poly? I know he starts with a low poly stairs. Then another mesh for the dirt. But I dont understand how he gets the 2 into one low poly object. I've tried normal mapping but I dont get the same result (render to texture to be more exact.) Any thoughts on the matter would be greatly appriciated

Are you asking how do you create a more accurate low poly mesh?
Probably just import both meshes and build a low poly over the top. I personally would use something like Max Retopo or GMTools draw poly. Or I guess you could make a few cuts in the original low poly and deform it as needed.
OR are you asking how do you include two meshes into one bake?
