Livestream WTF

Ok, I love livestream, it's cool and all, but whenever I get around two minutes into a video, one second slowly turns into five, then ten, then twenty! Thinking this is the videos way of buffering, I leave to get some lunch, come back, still waiting on it. Like right now, Took three minutes for ten seconds in-video to pass. Anyone else have these problems? And anyone know how to download a video from livestream? I was really looking foward to watching hyperdivine's videos. But now I can't....because it's going so damn slow. I've also tried it on multiple computers

And I'm sorry if this is kindof like 'this isn't your blog' I just wanted to see if anyone had a solution and to see if I was the only one having this issue.

i dont know much about livestream because im using ustream but FMS is quite unversal for live encoding
set a good bit rate, 640x480 resolution
try not to capture the whole screen , but partially.
