I'm interested if anyone knows of a good link to a tutorial on building tire treads in Max/Maya. I'm looking to build a tractor model and it would be helpful to gain some knowledge on the most efficient way to model the repeating tread pattern. Also considering a bake to normal for the treads since the final model is intended as a next gen asset. Thanks

Anyways, my brother did a tutorial for Cgtuts+ awhile back that covers modeling a high res tire in Max... Might help you out.
