It's not earth shattering, but I'm taking a summer design class to help me on the road to finally graduating next spring. It's a 4 week intensive, and our final assignment is to make a web site. As I already had one, I opted to redesign mine and update the content.
The old site had lots of small issues (a developer I am not), so I also wanted to keep this new version clean and as bug free as possible in the 6-day turn around time we had to finish all of this.
The current, old site:http://www.davelee3d.com/The new design:http://davelee3d.com/dev/index.htmlNOTE: The gallery page will not function on the /dev/ directory. If you want to see the content of the gallery, look at the old version here:

If you guys have any suggestions, that would be great. Down the road I'm planning on adding a "project breakdown" section that goes into more detail about some of the level design work I've done in the past.

Between the old site and the new one, nothing seems to actually have changed. You just added a fewer things here and there.
Not saying is bad, just saying u need to dumb it down so anyone can see what really matters...YOUR ART!
Oh, and I forgot to mention that at least for now, the content is exactly the same. Only the design has changed.

The main issue that I haven't resolved is that clicking on an image thumbnail in the gallery brings up a full screen boxed preview instead of opening the image in a new tab like I'd like it to.
