Wow! I made a mistake on goggles it was 1100 triangles. gonna fix that, thx
The limit was 8000 triangles for weapons, the polycount wasn't the hardest thing, the big deal was one 512x512 texture for each weapon , that was insane.
That was a real challenge for me to make something enough clean/readable with only 1 512 texture and because of the AO baking, things like miror/overlap was quite hard.
The limit for the hat was 800 triangles, i was in but i had to get the powerpack and the cable out, that was sad so i decided to cross the limit, the brief said that we had to " appreciate " how much poly we needed. I thought 300 triangle more was acceptable to have the cable etc...
Your image is broken, it doesn't work on the first post of this thread either. Perhaps you can fix it, I just don't know if you can edit the check-in page.

But really are those items really 7900 polys each or did you make a error?
