Hi. My name is Forest Meador, and I am a senior at the Art Institute of Dallas. I have just under a year left in school, and would like to get some feedback on the models that I am currently working on for some of my classes.
This quarter I was taking an advanced modeling class that focused more on the completion of prop models. For each assignment we were to submit ten reference images of props we would like to model. Once a reference was selected, we had less than two weeks to complete the high poly model, low poly model, unwrap, texture, and Marmoset render.
Here is the high poly model sheet for the first prop.

**This was the first time using Marmoset. The renders are a little dinky, but I'm getting better at it now.
**I have been modeling for just over 9 months now, and I love it! I can't wait to get some feedback from the Polycount community. I feel like all the critiques I can get here can help to make me a much stronger modeler before I enter the industry. ^_^
that said, cool couch
Love the pistol.
Also, I am in a class that teaches me how to build my own website (per the schools requirements) next quarter. So, I am sure that will help when it comes to better exposure/image hosting too. Until then, i will try to get some help with using something like dropbox.com.
My only crit would be to make better use of the UV space allocated to you.
