You're really sticking to the concept very well, it's looking fantastic!! I specifically love the welds, did you just do those up quick in zbrush, or is there some other method you're using for it? I'd love some insight because it looks sick man.
big bump. i've had a lot of work to do and i've finally got some time to come back to this and texture it etc.
i'm currently redoing the cockpit area in detail, then i'll go back and redo many of the welds so they don't look totally out of place like they do now. after that i'll make the low (going to try re topology on some parts.) and get it poppin.
wow, sweet model the details are really lovely, and the lego thing is awesome.
its probably a personal thing, but i guess the only thing that weirds me out a bit are the wing guns - it feels like with the way they're positioned at the very ends, and the shape almost being like a spin top - that they're in an unstable and weak position, or might even be totally unnecessary. sometimes about them doesn't feel too right, and like it would mess up the ship if they fired.
it sort of feels like a manatee holding something at the very ends of its flippers, rather than close to its body and maintaining its center of gravity i guess. to use a strange metaphor.
the interior looks kinda boring , id make more curved shapes or something more futuristic , right now you have a really good futuristic outside and a pretty bland inside . Great work man !
i don't really plan on texturing the interior in great detail, as it's mainly just to give some extra depth to the exterior shots.
i've just started making the low. i have to pretty much remodel the whole thing in low poly format because of how poorly i organized the high poly scene.
Racer, that's looking pimp so far! Question, how did you do the welding bits on the lower dorsal fin where those intakes meet the dorsal fin? Zbrush, or in Max / Maya?

what a nitpick huh? looks very close to concept to me, can't see any differences really, nice job.

i kid. i kid.
shit's awesome per usual. cockpit is at a nice level of modeling detail.
looking forward to more!
