Hey guys (and girls), I just signed up because I can't let this contest go by without adding my ideas.
Not that experienced at 3D modelling, but I will do my best.
Here is my work so far:
I like playing pyro, but am not a big fan of how items like the homewrecker make the pyro a camper type of support class, hanging around sentry guns etc.
So my first thought was, how can the pyro be a forward attack class but still serve a supportive role.
Here they are:
the fire extinguisher, replacing the secondary weapon.
Even though the pyro loves fire, he is but an amateur, and prone to accidents, thus he carries a fire extinguisher.
Primary attack will extinguish burning team mates or give enemies a speed debuff.
(optional) secondary attack will spray the ground around the pyro for X amount of time, slowing anyone who walks over that area.
The whip, this melee weapon verifies the rumours that the pyro does not just wear his suit for fire protection.
Even though he often uses the whip for other 'activities' it packs a punch and can do some serious damage if handled properly.
straight swap for the fire axe, no stat buffs.
Edit: So I just read that for this competition we are only supposed to re-skin original weapons, if this is true, I doubt I will enter, no fun in that at all.
