Since I'm off of work now, I thought I'd start on something to round out my portfolio. This is a full environment based on a concept by Airtight for Dark Void:
Here is the actual ingame screen of this environment. (sorry, its a picture of my tv... ugh.:
It looks like they went a way different direction from the concept to final. So here's my version this is only a small portion of the wall over there, but its enough to start a WIP thread. This is about 25-30 hours of work so far total, (I know thats not much, but keep in mind this is my first Unreal Env, I'm learning it as I go.) I'm hoping to have something portfolio ready by the end of this weekend.
C+C's welcome of course, thanks for taking a look.

One question thou, on the "second level", there seems to be some kind of reflective material. This material, however, it looks like it reflects the part leading down to "ground level". Shouldn't it reflect the wall instead or am I wrong?
I'm anxious to see the final result nevertheless, keep up the work!
Good point by IronHawk aswell. Thou it's hard to give some parts another tone since you risk to strive to far away from the original concept but see if you can make some subtle changes on the contrast/color on some of the materials. Perhaps put some moss or lichen on the rocks!
This is a close up of the ceiling section...
And heres the whole deal. I need to get this done soon, so I ended up moving a few things around to get a more complete look. still need to add a lot of props and such though. This is 2 weeks, about 80 hours of work.
