see if you can get in some thicker brush strokes on there, maybe some brighter unblended strokes vertically.
Also echoing on the blood, maybe just a tiny smudge of it near the edge or something.

I like the bandage. I think you should consider submitting one with some blood on it as well, though.
Depends on what your idea of "blood on it" means though.
If it means "randomly splattered blood on the outside like some bad horror flick", no.
However if it means "subtle trace of blood that's been absorbed into the bandage to indicate that it was actually used to treat an injury", then yes.
