Low budget 2D soccer game for iPhone seek pixel artist

we're Indie developers currently working on a 2D soccer game for iPhone (a-la Kick Off) and we need an help to get an original graphic set for players and fields. The idea is to put the resulting game as (small) priced app on App Store, once finished, so we want to pay the artist for his work (more or less a redesign of an extisting copyrighted sprite sheet - we need 24x24 player set - 8 directions for each animation) - but we're working with extremely low budget (this is our first project - and we don't know how this thing can go) so we can't afford regular rates. A (small) note: work will be also credited.
