Hey,
I was thinking of testing something out for a tree I am working on, and I'm not quite sure how I'm going to make this work out. Here's the thing:
I want to have a tiling bark texture along the trunk of my tree. However, I would like the base of the tree to have it's own unique texture (To add moss, dirt, roots, etc.) I'm trying to figure out how I would cover up the seam it would create however. I can't simply paint over the texture in Zbrush/mudbox, since the upper part is a tiling texture. Here is a picture explaining what I mean. (Note, the bark texture is just a simple tiling texture I slapped on.)
Any help is appreciated!
