I think that part should be less washed out, and more flat grey or what every color that part is on the real thing. Also, I think with an overall stronger specular and possibly some more very subtle specular highlights on the edges you could make things pop more. Anyways, this is all very nit-picky to be honest. Great job!
A couple crits for ya: The main receiver metal looks too blue. I'd lessen that and saturate the color of the greenish metal more to differentiate them from each other. Turn the gloss/exponent up! The whole thing has very flat lighting right now and some gloss could push the metal more. The grunge is well thought out, though I would put some scrapes on the barrel and magazine tube, the trigger guard/safety and the arm of the stock. The top of the receiver could use some interest too.
The plastic looks very soft. That's not a bad thing necessarily, but you can't see the ribs on the pump in FPS view. The last thing I want to mention is that plastic wouldn't scratch like that, but it would receive some more greasy/blobby grunge as well as dent.
Good stuff, but just a couple tweaks that might push it that extra mile. I'm glad the tutorials helped you!
