Hi, I'm currently in my 2nd year of uni and we're working on game demo in teams of 11.
I've always been interested in level design and [FONT="]environment[/FONT] art so I quickly put myself forward for these rolls.
We're just over half way through the project now and I was hoping on some feedback on what I've done so far.
This is my first time working in engine proper (apart from making a few box rooms in Unreal ed a few years ago). We used maya to create the assets and unity 3D (free edition, no shadows afaik
) for the actual * [FONT="]environment[/FONT]. We're required to use these by the brief.
The demo is set in the Sistine chapel and will be a limited flight sim / platformer. The player takes control of a Muse who is roughly the size of an apple and has to navigate through the chapel to a cardinal and land on the cardinals shoulder. That's a very brief overview of the game!
