Very nice. Loving the render. Some of the materials are convincing, not sure about the plastic(?) parts. I take it this gun isn't all metal parts? It reads mostly as one uniform material.
Gorgeous looking model work. I can't fault you there.
...however, the M203 would not function properly mounted only at the rear to a rail system like that. It has to be supported at the front of the frame as well.
I'd try a bracket or something attached to the lug behind the flash suppressor, just below the gas tube.
i gotta agree, THE lonewolf haha I used to play cs religiously and highly competitively when i was a kid
That mp5 is redic, hopefully I can match the standards your throwing out eventually Where do you get the refs for such high accuracy? Any special sites that i'm missing, all the refs for my current gun are just googled and none are really the same, hard to get that pure accuracy.

I'd love to know how you modeled this. In early images before you had the rails or barrel done the inside of the model was showing like it was just a skin and not a model if that makes any sense, it was hollow inside like you were just pulling edges forward to make the barrel?? Maybe I have this totally wrong but do you use shapes to model or a plane?
Looks super awesome btw.
i use plane most of the time and pulling edges unless i need to work on a cylinder shape
8K sounds pretty reasonable for a good quality FPS view weapon.
glad u mentioned that, i usualy make them 5-6k max for companies i work with but since this is just a portfolio piece, and a pretty loaded gun (rail scope and stuff) should i go more then 8K?
heres how it is now, its 13k, but i can cut here and there
is the hollowed out barrel really necessary at the front for an fps weapon? Also the ribs on the rail covers could be completely normal mapped if you wanted to keep the tris down instead of looking the main shape of the gun.
Sweet update man! Can't believe that's the bake, it's so clean and really looks like the hi poly plus can't see any errors. Amazing work as always. :poly122:

These have more distinct differences between the metal/plastic parts.
