Trying to speed up my work flow, but I'm working on making a Large angle grinder to be used for a FPS style game. Blocked out a generic version of the model, got a whole bunch references, going through them seeing what details I like before starting the sub division modeling.
I'm debating whether to use a cordless model, tape a battery to the model, or just ignore it/pretend the guy has a battery.
Reference sheet,

"I like this" - As do I
Anyway enough shenanigans, block out looks good. Really nothing else to crit. yet.
Put about 2 more hours of work into it, I'm rusty, not really doing much sub div work yet, blocking out the details making sure the scale and shape of everything is right and it looks good.
Your ref sheet is awesome too, "I like this!"
Looks like a nice start.
Search angle grinder, with safe search off and go to around page 12 or 13 on google......
Actually don't, I will never get that sight out of my head again. I'll let you know what it is so no one has to see that...ever again:
A lady murdered her kids with an angle grinder.... Seriously, that shit usually doesn't bother me, but seeing it happen to kids, I was going to cry (AND IM NOT AFRAID TO ADMIT IT!)
Anyway, looking real good Zac. Nothing really wrong with it yet!
Anyway I kinda want to do it for the TF2 submit content thing, the engineer really needs this. I'll do a realistic version first and then I'll probably try to tweak it for TF2.
Didn't do too much more work, Gotta combine the pieces and make sure it subdivides fine.
I don't really have anything very useful to add.
Perhaps Haute Tension might be a useful reference if you're going to gore it up.
Is that a grinder or saw? I might half to check out the movie, looks brutal.
...it gets used for worse things.
