Photoshop: Select changed pixels?

Anyone know of a Photoshop plug-in or technique that would allow one to grab only the pixels that are different between two images?

Say I have two images. The first is a picture of a dude's face, the second is the exact same picture, only a mustache and monocle had been added over top. I'd like a simple process to grab the pixels that are different (the mustache/monocle pixels)

No plugin that I know of but you might be able to get a useable mask by overlaying the two and setting blend mode to Difference, ideally that'd set all identical pixels to black. Then grab a merged copy, greyscale, adjust levels.. something like that.

Yep, peppi's way will do it. You could probably do an Action for this.

At my last job I had written an action for just this purpose that would extract the differential and drop it onto a new layer with transparency...I'll see if I can remember how the F I did it...
