A couple of images im posting here for anyone thats interested
And the same image again with some quick lines draw in to illustrate some of the things i find important from certain angles etc. A kind of rythmic design language.
Awsome sculpts, like the last one a lot.Appreciate your guidelines for the female form a lot,and want to ask what is ur approach to posing and refining the form/anatomy to the selected pose.Do u use reference images for the pose to guide ur anatomy or do u do it out of ur head?
I am starting my pose from an rigged skeleton mash in maya, its easy to experiment with diffrent poses quickly and then i export the mesh to zbrush and match the character to the skeleton pose with transpose master.
Hey Marrakech, definitely use reference man. Find the poses you like from other figurative studies, photography, especially ballet, and other dancing photos etc. You can usually get something going and find some good references based on these.
I dont rig my characters, sculpted in zbrush and then tpose mastered with finishing touches without symmetry on
Hi Haz. Good job. We look forward to continue the upgrade. Hey haz, please take a look at my trade. I am completely confused making the face. Write your opinion what you think. I would be very grateful. And yes, great video broadcast. Congratulations.
Taking a look at the shadows of the last piece from the current light setup, I would suggest to develop the forms more, making more contrasting differences. If you are going with an average build woman with lean muscles and soft forms, I currently see the character fitting an ectomorph build. That could be why I see the piece with high-key shadows. But good progress nonetheless. I have linked some webpages from LIVESTRONG that can help with your studies.
groovy, so if you were going to low poly it, would you just stick with the individual's? re-topping the whole thing seems like it would be awkward at best.
Thanks for the guidelines for morgan. Helps a lot. Been following your stuff for quite some time. Have to say its really inspirational.
Great job on Esmy. Looking fantastic. Indie team is going be proud. Not going to lie, but not many people know about craymore sadly. Good to see you did a sculpt
You nailed her man
Was this just for fun btw? (The sculpt looks better than the one they are giving away on kickstarter but shhh... don't tell them that!)
i mentioned it in waywo, but not sure if you saw it. Those feet are absolutely tiny, and don't look right, feet in high heels look pretty bizarre and are hard to get right without reference. And I'm pretty sure it isn't a stylistic choice as emmy has large feet.
