Far as music goes, I'm waiting on that new High on Fire. Lately though, I've been listening to lectures while working; Robert Anton Wilson, McKenna, anti-scientology, whatever.
No where near all of that I'm listening too at the moment, but the playlists I've setup recently...
Ahab - Divinity of Oceans (Nautical Funeral Death/Doom)
Be'lakor - Stones Reach (Very solid Melodic Death)
Insomnium - Across the Dark (my Favorite Melodic Death band)
Isis
Mastadon
Meshuggah
Novembre
Opeth
Scarve
Textures
The Sword
The Tossers: Every Album
Frank Black: Honeycomb
DropKick Murphys: The Meanest of Times
Billy Brag: Must I Paint you a Picture
Carbon Leaf: Love, Loss, Hope, Repeat
Momus: Folktronic
Street Dogs: State of Grace
Me First and the Gimme Gimme: Blow in the Wind
Bombshell Rocks: The Conclusion
Through the Eyes of the Dead (favorite band)
Despised Icon (second favorite band and has my favorite drummer)
Decapitated
Killswitch Engage
Whitechapel
Oceano
Nile
Breaking Benjamin
Evanescence
Aborted
I used to hear a song every morning on the radio (Greg and the Morning Buzz if anyone may be able to help) and it had a female vocalist. It wasn't metal or anything but for some reason I really liked it. Can anyone throw out random guesses as to what it may have been?
RickSterling: I was just back stage with sarah & tegan two nights ago. I've known those lovely ladies since the mid nineties. I bring this up because it's always kind of shocking to see their names in places that they are not, usually.
Music:
Raekwon - Only build 4 cuban linx pt 2
Royce Da 5'9
Jay-Z - blueprint 3
Explosions in the sky
This will destroy you
Fuzzy lights
Sunset Rubdown
The Walkmen
Why?

No clue... how about In This Moment... there's a female vocalist but that's a metal band.
Evanescence in there with Nile and Despised Icon? Interesting mix. Then again, They Might be Giants are one of my favorite bands, so go figure. Since you like Tech/Death... how do you feel about The Faceless?
MJB,
Dr.Dre,
Erykah Badu,
Eminem,
Cypress Hill,
Ray Charles(lol!),
Some soundtracks (the neverhood, system shock2 etc/mark morgan , serra, morricone)
Peter Gabriel
Macy Gray
Snoop!

Not "In this Moment", thanks though. Actually, I just watched a bunch of Marco Pitruzella drum cam videos of him touring with The Faceless. I liked them for a little while and actually saw them a little while ago. I don't really like Planetary Duality but Akeldama is awesome. Very good/talented band.
Yeah hes pretty much all I listen to while im working. The guy has got some really great tunes. Here is one album you should deff check out if you liked that tune. there is not one bad song on the whole album

Midnight Brown released their fourth album just a couple of days ago! I never even knew about them until then. If you don't, Jeff Gerstmann (of Gamespot and Giant Bomb fame) and a pal of his have been making crazy junk for the past several years and releasing it for free.
Can't believe I forgot to link these guys. I don't really care for Requiem for a Dream being sync'd up to the music, but it's the only good recording I could find.
Reminds me of simpler times when i was delivering pizzas in Jamul, my brother just lent me the CD "Room on Fire" i think it was called. It was a wooded rural area of san diego where you can go pretty much as fast as you wanted in the deeper parts. Used to get a lot of complaints because the cheese always ended up on just one half of the pizza.
Miss my mustang, totaled it on a delivery run :P, not my fault, chick busted an illegal U turn in front of me at high speed, but hey, it might have been the best thing that ever happened to me because i'm not delivering pizzas any more...
Edit: I highly recommend everyond creating a muse station on polycount, some great working music.
Between the buried and me (my fav band)
abd
lamb of god
Between the Buried and Me is fucking epic live...
Albums I'm listening to/have been:
Secret Chiefs 3 - Book M
Radiohead - In Rainbows
Augury - Fragmentary Evidence
The Deserts of Traun - Part III - The Lilac Moon
Boxcutter - Glyphic
Dream Theater - BC&SL
Zappa - No Specific Album
My taste in music tends to change from time to time. Recently, I've been listening to stuff like Jay Sean, Cascada, Armin Van Buuren, Roy Orbison and Taylor Swift.
Don't laugh.
Nothing wrong with Roy Orbison, he has a great voice.
Then again my own music taste is quite far away from the mainstream... classical, soundtracks and world music...mostly israeli though. Sometimes pop, rock, rock'n'roll, metal and whatever else I'm in the mood for. There's not much you won't find in my music library, except for beijing opera. I still think it sounds like cats being tortured.
Johnny Cash - Man in Black
Johnny Cash - Legend of
Johnny Cash - American V A Hundred Highways
Johnny Cash - My Mother's Hymn Book
Eddie Vedder - Into the Wild
Nirvana - Nevermind
Nirvana - MTV - Unplugged
Pearl Jam - about 4 live concerts

I listen to the soundtrack for that game from time to time. I love it, its one of my fav game ost's.
Psycroptic - Observant
and...
Celph Titled - The Gatalog
two very different genres
I like to mix it up
death metal wakes me up.

There is lots of metal fans on here...
I'm so over waiting for the Periphery album. Tesseract has sax solo's and you can't beat that...
