I actually sat thru the whole thing and it wasn't so bad (except the Jersey Shore akwardness). Was pleasantly surprised by the Force Unleashed 2 and Halo Reach trailer (thought it wouldn't be until E3 for that), and glad to see Dragon Age and Forza won their respective categories. That Spec Ops: The Line game is definitely on my radar now, and the Medal of Honor (reboot?) was actually very impressive (I was skeptical upon hearing its announcement).

After dedicating half my time in middle school to Halo 2, a decent amount to Halo 3, and just ignoring ODST, the Reach trailer has restored my enthusiasm for the Halo series. The book was extremely good. If its anything like the book, the game should be too.

Although we didn't have much competition this year, Forza 3 got racing GotY!

I'm not sure if i can stand to watch the VGA's again after the last few. Mostly for me its the fact that they shafted half of the winners to a quick screen blip, only to be replaced by musical performances and long winded actor bull shit! I want to see the devs not the actors, they have their own award shows! If they want to play music, them play a live piece from the game with best score of the year.

This whole show was a big FAT joke. Ghostbusters was up for awards in 3 categories, and they didn't even show the nominations. First for the male performance awards Hugh Jackman just shows up and is like hey thanks for giving me both of these awards without even mentioning who else was nominated, and WTF since when does he count for a whole cast? I really thought Ghostbusters had a good shot at that one, I mean that is a real cast! And OMG WTF a Southpark tower defence xbla game beat Ghostbusters for best game based on a movie...that is more bs than I can even understand.

So thats my gripe, and I am a bit bias, but I think the guys at Terminal Reality deserved some recognition for all their hard work! They were all so excited to find out about the nomination, and you wouldn't have even known they were by watching the show, totally not cool.

But congratz to all the guys that did win, but I was so disappointed with the whole thing.

How does LFD2 get best 360 game? I almost feel asleep playing that game it was so boring. Not to mention it looks like a circa 2004 game. GoW3 for most anticipated game? Its the same thing as GoW2 only with a face lift.

Everything else looks fine. Uncharted 2 was amazing. Well deserved. The only PS3 exclusive that's worth a damn.

L4D2 is an awesome game, it does look a tad dated (as most Valve games do these days) but it's a hell of a lot of fun. It's much more of a PC game than a console game though.

Not surprising that Rocksteady get some recognition, they're really going from strength to strength. Good job, guys

All award shows I've ever seen are a popularity contest, pure and simple. Whatever ______ is hot at the moment takes the award. It's why I never watch them, all they do is get me aggravated as to why _____ won, and _____ didn't win. So as a semi-thinking being, I exercise my right to change the channel.
