That's right Asherr! That's exactly what I was going for. The story was that a dead man came back to life with a big mallet, smashed the gravestones to pieces, and then felt bad for his deeds. So he used superglue to glue it all back up together. But I guess the story isn't all flushed out just yet. Tell you what, since you are the writer, I'll let you have a go with that story.
@Seaseme: Thanks, I had lots of fun with this one!
You might get more comments if you tone that arrogance back a notch or 5.
If you just want your ass kissed then I suggest other forums.
Asherr has a valid point. The cracks and weathering do not make sense and DO look like it was broken and reassembled. Frankly I couldn't see anything with cracks like that still standing.
They do NOT look like casual erosion or weathering and DO look like deliberate strikes/breakage.
Some more colour variation would help out as well.. I had to look between the first two shots a couple of times to be able to tell that you had a texture map on there.
Thanks Snemmy, I do like your advice better than Asherr's crit. I guess I respond with a nicer tone when I actually do recieve helpful responses.
hmmm....I'll add some color variation to the stones. I see your point when you say that the stones do look like they should be more destroyed if they are going to be cracked that way. When I drew it out I fell in love with the sihlouette, but maybe I should show it broken and crumbled to the ground. Hmmm...I'll think more on that...if anything, I might just ease it up on the cracks just to save the sihlouette.
But for now, I'll ease up on the sarcasm. My Apologies Gentlemen. And Ladies.
Nice work!
Tree does look a little shiny, and I know it's a small thing, but your weeds look like they've been speared into the ground by an angry gardener, maybe add a poly and bend them a little.
Hi Guys,
Heres a Recent render. I'm still rethinking the over cracking but for now, I took down the spec, bent up the weeds, and added a bit of color to the stones. Again, thanks to everyone for the advice.
Really nice prop here I don't know if that should be so desaturated, but It would be nice to give a little color to lamp (dark red?), cross(dark gold/silver) and fence(dark something). Scene is looking great now, but it lacks of eye catchers
Looks dope, you've got that smooth stylised look going out there.
I do like cracks on the tombstone, even though I don't make any sense.
You might want to bend the railings slightly, right now they look like they have been simply rotated.

That tree looks really shiny though, maybe tone the spec down a little?

Can't think of any more feedback at the moment.
