Pretty much what the topic says. I've been working on this with some friends for a fair while now and it's great to finally show it off to the world!
Website:
http://ultrablast.net There's a quicktime version of the trailer on the website, slightly higher quality than youtube.

*sigh* stupid video... If you look at it on Youtube it's bigger and easier to see what's going on
We've also submitted it to the IGF Mobile competition so fingers crossed :poly128:

I will post a link to the game when it's released, but can't say when that will be at the moment
Osman, the coder, has indeed done a great job like Tekk says, he's the brain behind it all. Story, level design, all the code, web backend etc. I just did the art and he made it look great in motion
One coder, one musician and me did most of the work, two more artists (Erilaz and LoTeKk) helped out with portraits and a boss and design ideas (and testing. Oh so much testing). Have a look

Love these style of games.. especially old school ones, like Raptor
I love the music in the trailer too.
Is it all Sprite based or is some of it 3D?
Lots and lots of sprites were made in the process of making this game and if I remember correctly there's a grand total of 2 animated textures, the rest is code magic. The programmer made my stuff look so much better than it actually is
Conte, too late
conte- black lines may be more of a design decision than art...really helps pop the objects out if theres a load on screen
Shep; Yeah, it's been a while since I posted anything art-related Almost never do any 3d at home anymore. This was a nice change from all them thar fancy normalmaps and shit.
Black lines help separate ships from bullets too. We also tried to make sure the ships wouldn't blend in to the background but on the rare occasion that they do, the outline helps.
Target_Renegade; glad you like it. We might have something to say about the OST some time in the future... Fun fact: the guy who made the music works as a teacher during the day
bbob; thank you, it was fun to do some 2d art after working on next genny stuff all day at work
Reviews are as always, more than welcome
(ps, tell your friends! )
