Hello all,
I'm part of a team here in Liverpool (UK) developing an iPhone app around 3D virtual gifts. We hope to launch in early December, but just thought you might like an early preview of what we're doing, and some of the work of our 3D artists in particular
Bascially, we're describing Little World Gifts as
"a boutique store full of festive curios and trinkets to surprise, delight and amuse during the festive season".
The free Little World Gifts iPhone App lets you browse a range of 3D, interactive digital gifts, and send them to your friends. And of course, it wouldn't be Christmas if you couldn't play with your presents too :-)
If you're a bit of an iPhone geek, you might also be interested that we're gonna be doing some cool stuff with in-app purchases, push notifications and Facebook integration too.
It'd be great to know what you think, and if you've got any questions. There's a demo video at
http://vimeo.com/6980132 and more hi-res pictures specifically of our Christmas gifts Flickr
http://j.mp/5y2Uzt We're especially proud of the rocking horse and the reindeer what Christmas gifts would you like to see in the app?!

Adding that would help alot!
Twelve drummers drumming,
Eleven pipers piping,
Ten lords a-leaping,
Nine ladies dancing,
Eight maids a-milking,
Seven swans a-swimming,
Six geese a-laying,
Five golden rings,
Four calling birds,
Three French hens,
Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree!
Then have one of the gifts delivered each day, starting 12 days from Christmas.
It needs a singing Billy Bass too. Those make great joke gifts.
We did have a think along those lines Pyromania...we've at least got a drummer and a toy ring now!
The Next Web is the first to have a proper play with the app.
And TechCrunch has a few thoughts.
Would love to hear what you all think...
