Hi erverybody !
Here comes my WIP thread for a 2d entry.
My scenario is a rocky coast. An alien space ship has crashed here several years ago and the aliens have started to influence the world in different ways... to the disadvantage of the natives. The heros task is to sneak into the wreck and fight the boss of the aliens, of course!
In the last years the sourrounding at the beach has been changed by the influence of the aliens. Coral cultures have left the ship and grown on the rocks. The aliens also use their technology to fit into their new habitat.

edit: my last post is still missing, i did another sketch:

and some first experiments for the ship before it crashed at the coast..

big step today, i started the final painting and here is a first wip:
Adding some much needed hard edges and texture.
I hope you already signed up over at artisans, it was rather tedious and we're coming up at the end of the contest so it'd be good to get that out of the way if you haven't already. Not too many 2d submissions from polycount. Hope you have time to finish before the deadline.

a new step- and i think i am close to finish this.
I added some detail to show the story of the image and the way the player will have to go.
The final battle in this game would be in the cave you see in the lower left corner. The player has
to fight his way through dangerous forests and cross high canyons to reach the cave.

Still have to work on my sheets and upload all the images.
