Basic idea: This is the last gate still open, all the others have been closed off. You have one last obstacle to get past (end boss) to enter/escape the city. It's still under construction following an attack.
The concept is just a basic idea for the 3d. I wanted to get modeling as soon as possible. It has a basic lighting idea, but I have a few changes in mind. Also, the texture detail is obviously not represented in the 2d.
I'm still playing around with colors and where to put the smiley.
If you just edit your post, it won't move back to the top and no one will ever see it. Can You post bigger pictures of those textured shots? Looks nice so far.
Picasa thumbs don't seem to work on the Polycount forums.
There you go Alan. You can back away from the monitor now!
Also, any Polycounters know how to get rid of that Steam product key notice? I've already entered the key in Unreal, but there is no dialogue to enter the key in the editor.
You'd be better presenting the crash site images, as in, what's on the bridge. These shots of the bridge support beam, lovely as they are, seem off-theme, and confusing.
There are a lot of GREAT entries this year. Going through peoples finals blows my mind.
I did a number of things wrong, but learned a great deal. Thanks for your comments, and gj to those who finished. The final pieces that I've seen are seriously amazing.

Actually, I'm surprised you found it Cody haha. You must have either saw it via the UC entries page, or have been crawling pages of this forum.
If anyone wants to see any shot larger, you can find it here: http://picasaweb.google.com/SteveAStrickland/Competitions#5400874611597251714

Thanks Vig, that solves the problem. Now if only I could use GI without UDK crashing...
Cholden, if you mean what I think you mean, it's cool because my first render will be from the angle above. That's what you mean right?
