Hello,

A big Typhoon is coming on Japan tonigh, one of the most big one they got in the past...

I would like to know who are living on Japan, and if you will be ok tomorrow!

I'm living in Tsu, county of Mie...
News at the TV are too bad and living near the sea and will be high-tide when the tiphoon will cross the town -__-....

Then what about other polycounter living in Japan, where do you live?

Stay safe man. Asia's been getting hit hard by typhoons the past few weeks, some of them the biggest we've seen in a decade. HK, Vietnam, Philippines, now Japan.. what's going on, earth?

Yeah but this year lot of people already lost house and life because of another Typhoon while summer...
Then it happened...
Tokyo has lot of buildings but the county I'm living is lot of really old house and I live in one... Then I don't feel safe this time...

EDIT : Mother of my wife just gave call and house we're living already was under water in past, arround 2meters O_O... Then it could be dangerous to stay... We gonna leave house for hotel... maybe more safe for this night -__-...

yes, take lots of pictures, and sell it to the media afterwards. they'll pay big, and it might help you fix up the broken house.

Yeah, lucky for me I am in the mountains, but coastal people will get hammered. The prefecture I am in says it should die down by the time it gets to us. Last time I was in a typhoon, a lot of crap got blown around and caused minor damage, but they say this time wind is gonna be a mo-fo up here, so tie the cats and dogs down.

I have some in-laws on the island in Tokyo Bay, so far they are ok.

Man, I lived in Kyoto for the rainy season back in 05. That country gets crazy rain. Never experienced a typhoon though.

At least Japan puts some serious money and engineering into the problem. I wonder how bad it would be without thinking like this?

Yeah, after you've seen that you'll realize HOW MANY freakin' movies were shot in there. And prolly the inspiration for that level in Mirrors Edge.

Now it's raining like a mofo with some strong winds. We're getting the edge of it now, so the main bit hasn't hit yet, but from the looks of it, it's over for us.

yo I'm back home.... Little water at the entrance in the jouse but this is the shoes space, nothing bad ^_^!!

About Nagoya I watch the TV and some street was under 50cm of water. Als the middle of the Typhon crosse this town!!! (I'm not sure but maybe 1m somewhere..)

In Tsu we go heavy rain,. but the town seems to have a good underfloor and rain already dried up ^_^.

What else... This morning east of Australia they got an earthquake of power 7.5 while 10s, and it doesn't seem prevent of any Tsunami to Japan...

At the end, lost of perosn lost house in Japan, also lot of carm track get reverse, and the tsunami continu is the north of Japan.

typhoon passed tokyo today, nothing much happened, they stopped my local train line for a little while but thats about as inconvenienced as it got. but from what i saw on tv it was much worse elsewhere.

There were some heavy casualties in my hometown. My praying mantis eggs along with a few moms blew away. I had them in a cage and was trying to raise an army of them. And only a few more days till they hatched.
