so the creator of the xbox is working on a ds like tablet thing for microsoft, and looks promising, if it has pressure sensitivity i can see this being a neat little sketchbook..
These things never seem to have the power or pressure sensitivity to have a satisfying drawing experience... fingers crossed though, cause it's sure cool looking.
Have some doubts though, will it accept pressure from the stylus? can you use your finger for more than just dragging & dropping? does the stylus act like a mouse, or just a writing tool? can gestures be done with the pen?
not in the mindset that it'd fail, but i'm skeptical of it living up to itself without being somewhat clunky, buggy, or slow. Will it have usb connections? Can i print my pages? If i plug an iphone into it will the universe implode? ahhhhhhhhhhhhh
That's pretty slick. Could be a nice thing to have around with you. The VGA camera is a bit of a disappointment but otherwise looks interesting. Have to wait and see what else shows up about it.
Wow... i'm actually reaalllly interested in something like this, wonder how much it would cost...
I've been trying to think of what I would pay for this; What's the most I would pay. Absolutley no more than $700, and even that is a stretch. For $350 I can get a EEE-PC that does all (or most) of the same things (although in a less streamlined manner) and more, and for a cool grand I could pick up a Cintiq.
I get the feeling this is going to be somewhere between $650-1,100.
In the end, it's all about what it's worth to you, though.
I love this thing. its going to to be perfect for when I'm zipping to work with my jet pack. I wonder if the display still works with my x-ray glasses?
Looks really interesting, have to see how it turns out before getting too excited, been disappointed by too many would-be sketching on the go type products in the past.

in theory that looks pretty good if it works well.
Very handy either way

Interesting to see stuff I've seen in scifi movies slowly come to life
This could also make some interesting games possible.
