Army 'bull' WIP character

Hey guys I've been spending some time working on this over the summer and I just thought I would post and try to get some crits. The head hasnt been touched in a long time but I think i'm planning to have it be a bulls head.
I'm having trouble deciding if I should change the hands right now. I'd like him to have an ammo belt around his chest and also swords on his back. Currently I'm not entirely sure what type of gun he would actually be able to wield (without thumbs and all). Anyway with school starting up monday i'm not sure how much work i'm going to be able to put into him in the near future but please any crits

I would think about adding a thumb though.
Look at it from the bottom up with this reference:

to me it looks like your model is lacking the 'curve', I also made that mistake on my sculpt of C4 (doh).
