It looks good, but what do you mean, they launch off? like a rocket launcher, they launch forward? because if thats the case, some of them will hit those gears infront of them.
also, a couple of the wires inside the gold thing look like they could use a few more edge loops. not round enough, can see the sharp bends.
Think lunar lander, they all have side jets and what not.
I'm not going for a strict copy of the original since there isn't enough reference images for it
I don't know how I'm going to do the wires in the low poly so right now I'm just kinda placing them, I have a lot more to add, but be sure I'll make sure I round them off.
