I'm finishing right now the texture for this model, but due to problems with my hardware i'm getting pretty slow. This was posted on the "What are you working on" thread, expect it finished very soon ^^
This ended up on the last post of page 2 so i don't know if anyone saw it, but there is an SDK available for this fun little guy:
The sdk includes a .OBJ for the low res, a .MAX for the sculpt basemesh, as well as a .MAXfor the low res, and a .PSD with the basic texture below/Wire.
I've been following the progress of this game and it's quite cool. Amazing texture work Blaizer. The saturation of the textures + creative design of the enemies give a good 16bit era feel to this game. I'm wishing you guys great success with this project.
these creatures are really nice! Also I dont mean to be a ass, but since the potato man is the main character, I feel like he should look really cool in terms of quality standards. right now the creatures/insects have set tht bar really high!
Konstruct: You're actually 100% right, we decided to kick up the quality half way through. We'll definitely have to modify those textures to match, in the mean time:

I've noticed that there seem to be a few inconsistencies with style/design. You can really tell which assets have been created by Blaizer and which haven't.
That aside, stunning work and looking forward to seeing more progression.

The trooper test shot is probably the best animation I have seen since ... forever.
I really mean it man. I love how it has such a great sense of weight, but without any over acting/animating.
I have seen so many animators (pro or am) doing that whole 'jump anim hangs in mid air for a split second because oh-oh-oh look it's so funny' its getting sad. But seing your stuff is so refreshing, no tricks or cliches in there, just QUALITY .... I really hope the animation blending system you guys will use will be giving that justice. As a matter of fact I wouldnt even mind animations popping through each other, it could be nice and snappy (like in tatsunoko VS capcom)
Also, I tip my hat to you for respecting the natural path of motion of the center of gravity of the character. Whenever I see it going back and forth during shitty run cycles, or doing weird stuff during jumps (HELLO streetfighter4), it makes me die a little inside. Your stuff is simply flawless in that regard in that trooper test video.

I hate to ask, but are you guys going to retexture your original soldiers? They just seem so lacking compared to the cool stuff that's been coming out the past few weeks. They need some kind of kickass headgear or something, something that wont interfere with the already great animations.
