Sketchbook: Zylyx
Hi all!
I'm pretty new here (my 2nd post, lol), and I'm totally overwhelmed by the amount of talent in these forums! I'm an amateur 3D artist, and in the real world a student studying Computer Games Technology (the programming side of things).
I've been involved with computer graphics (both 2D and 3D) officially since I was 13 (I'm 20 now). I kinda hated art in high school, so I shied away from learning how to draw properly. Instead I spent time learning to be good at 3D modelling, texturing and animation, but now I'm learning the hard way that good 3D art comes from good real life drawing practice. So in my spare time, i draw a few concept sketches here and there. I hope that in a few years I might become a reasonably good amateur game artist.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot this bit. I use Lightwave 3D, Zbrush and Milkshape 3D.

Ok, this is my first piece in here. It's a concept art sketch for a new Quake player model. All criticsm is welcome!
