that's a strange yet seemingly successful way to sell a video game... those goggles are normally pretty expensive... i'm guessing they're not all that good...
wonder how they are going to get around the technology restrictions on shipping, or if it's going to be a US only release since I believe NV goggles are on the do not ship manifests..
Dekard: I bet the goggles are so low quality they wont be an issue. Most camcorders have night vision mode, which is probably even better than these goggles.
Oh, and by the looks of the LEDs, they're the cheap active goggles which send out infrared lightbeams which can be picked up by most shitty cameras. Attach a screen to that, and you have nightvision. They're not the hardcore light-intensifying ones.
Holy cow, I didn't see that coming...
If the price is right, than I may see it being on my Christmas list..
(Hopefully the prestige version will also be shipped for the PC.)
These special editions of games keep getting more and more ridiculous. If you see this on a game store it will most likely look like the cheap night goggles come with a free game!
On Gamestop.com you can preorder the regular and hardened edition for PC. Didn't see the prestige edition on there however. But the hardened edition did say it has the art book and voucher for the other game. So I guess they aren't screwing the PC gamers too bad on this one.

They look like that cheap brand of NV goggles I saw some months ago. They're like $80 or something like that. Nice pack-in though. Nifty.
Im interested in the game, not bonus fluff throw in there
lol was going to say the same thing pyro!
I doubt I'll be affording the prestige edition, might pick up the steelbook edition for the artbook though, usually only a few quid more.
hmm.. guess that's not a problem anymore.

because only going to 55 is for wankers
