i saw about 15 minutes, it was all i could bear. That short bit was complete and utter wank, constantly going nudge-nudge, wink-wink, how clever is this then, eh? Yeah ... not very

There was another thread on this movie. It was buried. As it should be.

I tried so hard to like this movie. I really wanted to. But it was just absolutely terrible. And I'm a person who loves bad movies. It was just bad in an unforgiving and irredeemable way.

yea super lame, only a couple songs that sound like actual songs and the plot is boring.

I'm in the same boat as slum, i wanted to like it. Its just too poorly done to be enjoyable.

briefly reviving this thread, as i wanted to start one. i also felt exactly the same way about this movie. i was watching it, and kind of happy, but mainly really unsatisfied the entire time. first of all, my tolerance for musicals is extremely low. if it needs to be done, i can handle it, but it has to feel right. this movie is plagued with terrible, terrible songs (the only decent one being "the little glass vile...etc" whatever that's called).i feel like they were just "oh, i guess we need more music to make this longer," and subsequently wrote a bunch of terrible songs that could have easily just been dialog.

i want this concept to work, it's an interesting premise. maybe a game? organs on payment plans, or else repo man...

funny how the 2009 artsy movie is full of painfull cliches and codes, taking itself so seriously, but the late 70s one was the most original, entertaining, exhilarating thing, like, ever!

Btw, IMO, I actaully really liked Repo! a lot. But I get how a lot of people wouldn't. The more I listen to the soundtrack (yes, I have the sound track) the more I really, really enjoy it. I thought the visuals, and even the plot were really quite interesting. I am a fan. :P

Dont you get irritated by bits like :

"

- A little glass vial, a little glass vial !!
"

This kind of stuff is so bad and cliche it really scratches my ears. Same for the rhymes and overall sung dialogue, it all sounds so badly written... almost like uninspired improv at times. Yuck!
