I'm an argentinian artist (conventional and digital)... Right now unemployed but looking forward to hit in the industry of movies... I'm a generalist and specialize in modelling, sculpting and VFX... I'm running a companionship with a friend as Graphic Designers (team freelancing) and Motion Graphics as well...
Aside of 3D, I'm well formed in the use of illustrator and Photoshop.
My hobbies stands as a musician: General instruments composer, guitarrist and mixer (no grade)... I also play piano but the lack of the instruments for the past 4 years takes me out of that track...
I focus mostly on details and subtleties whenever I am doing any kind of art... Love the simplistic as much as the fully complex and detailed art (speaking of music and visual arts)
All that being said, I'm happy to be part of this community
Hello there! I am really excited to be able to start using this forum for feedback. I am a 3D Artist who primarily uses Maya and zBrush. Looking forward to meeting new people!
I'm currently studying a games design course in Melbourne, Australia and I'm loving every minute of it. But I am looking to advance my skills as much as possible and I'm finding the feedback from my tutors a bit limited at times.
I've come across this site over and over again, so I thought it was about time I joined the community.
Looking forward to learning everything you guys (and girls) can throw at me. =D
Greetings Denizens of Polycount(and fellow newcomers)!
I'm one who is fond of generally anything animated and tends to stand idly ingame/irl and observe all the polygons/stuff around me-- and learn from there to make my own animated arts and stuff.
Looking forward to joining in and getting swept up in the creative flow of this place.
Hi everyone! New here and I am excited to be here. I am a 2d/ 3d concept artist, illustrator artist that loves to paint and draw creatures. I look forward to meeting everyone!
I used to be 'King of Daveness' for many, many years. I stopped dropping by Polycount after leaving the games industry after a couple of bad experiences and went to work in special effects.
While I was a polycounter I did art for Unreal Tournament 04, Dungeons & Dragons online, Mythos and a bucket more, plus cinematics or ads for Dragonage, Fury, Civilization IV, Gods of War: Chains of Olympus.
Some of you may remember me from my speed modelling demos at Autodesk gigs, such as the SIGGRAPH launch, GDC, Chinajoy!, CgOverdrive and AGDC.
And for those Americans out there I also did the Comcast rabbit panther thingie whilst at Animal Logic.
My name used to be David, but I found out I had an undiagnosed intersex condition a few years back (about 1.7% of the population do, apparently we are as common as ginger people) and transitioned to female using hormone replacement therapy to fix the associated health problems (Menopause like symptoms, gender dysphoria and physical pain). It is a similar condition to transgender people, though rather than just developing a physically female brain in a male body due to hormones, I got a whole shuffle of the male/female deck.
The result of all this is that I have changed my name, and as I now operate under Ms. Delaney King. Nice ta meet cha!
Now a happy and healthy female, I am helping transgender and gender diverse developers and artists, advocating for trans rights, working with female game developers, visiting schools to teach and returning to making games myself.
Recently I reintroduced myself to the Australian industry in my new female form as a speaker at Games Connect Asia Pacific, and I am pleased to say I have been warmly welcomed back. What a well educated bunch!

If you have not encountered intersex people before, check out The Gender Puzzle on youtube here... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XPY28QW4T4E
