Was good, new FBI girl is hot, and I liked the two X-Files references, once at the start when it's on a TV in the background and again later when the senators are talking to Broyles and make a reference to "the old X designation"
Really needs a Warren Ellis written episode, Fringe is closer to Global Frequency than X-Files
it was an alright episode.. didn't like how it took off.. from the season finale.. she got into an elevator last season.. this season she's in a car... and now she's going through dimensions while driving... I knew the buddy FBI agent was going to bite it as he's got a new hot chick replacement.. blech.. c'mon... and I know the doc's crazy and all but fuck man hygiene eating twizzlers with your bloody gloves..
I'll give it a few more weeks.. wasn't too thrilled with the direction of the new season.
I liked the premiere. It kind of got predictable, and didn't progress really far, but I liked it overall. I'm hoping they get to explaining why Olivia couldn't load her gun (I forgot how Season 1 ended, so maybe that explained it). I hope, if they are going to try the love conflict crap, that they just get it done and over with. That storyline has ruined so many shows, that you'd think they'd have learned from it.
I thought the new FBI chic was just a gratuitous hot chic and not necessary. I hope they find a good way to fit her in, or lose her. I don't mind looking at her, but I could use the internet for that
No way... I thought the x-files bit at the start was a nice touch, but they just mentioned the old "x devision" being just like the Fringe devision... Thats awesome, means the x-files are part of the same universe.
Yeah the end of season two was shaping up real nice, especially with the addition of Nimoy. But season three kinda took the sting outta the story a bit I feel. I hate when they spend a whole season building a story then end it almost in a single episode. Will keep watching for now
Yeah, still watching it for now. I've also entered the 'don't care' stage. I hate to say that, because I've really looked forward to this show in the past.
I'm really not enjoying bouncing between the two dimensions. I'm also getting tired of Olivia trying to figure out who she is in the alt dimension, and that no one can figure out that something is odd about the Olivia in this dimension.
Also, they've neutered Walter. His quirkiness was what I enjoyed most about the show. Lately, he's just been quiet and depressive, because of his disconnect with Peter.
Overall, they need to return to what the show was in season 1. Odd/unexplained things happening, and resolving them. The multi-dimension thing can sit in the background as a mini-plot. They are making the same mistakes that ruined X-Files for me.
It's actually one of my favourite shows on TV. I'm really enjoying this season. And, while I did like the initial odd case/resolving on the start of the show I prefer the main plot.
But yeah, too bad they are showing less Walter now... he really made the show before.
Yeah... I do my online gaming on Friday nights So, I guess I DVR and watch later, but at this moment, I'm not sure if I will be. I like that some of the more recent episodes, have mainly focused on cases again, even if they are in the other dimension. I'd still like to see shit get sorted out though, and just be done with the multi-dimensional spy game.
It would be cool see the Peter machine built and operated as a season finale, with massive effects and craziness

Yeah, but I will be seriously pissed if they just make it so the worlds merge together, and they all have reset their memories and its just like nothing had happened. Hate that kind of endings.
It's a shame they keep a show like "Human Target" on the air and move Fringe to Fridays.. why not just put it after idol on Thursdays again. Fox sucks.
The X-Files was on Fridays I believe, and I don't recall that being canned after a few seasons
Lets face facts, Fridays, not many people really go out anymore. Plus theres no REAL sci-fi fix on a Friday, or anything at all for that matter. It may be a good move in fact, get it some new fans.

The Xfiles didn't have to compete with today's alternatives.
Wiki Friday Death Slot: Today it reflects the belief that Americans rarely watch TV on Friday or Saturday nights, as these are days people (especially younger people) tend to leave home for other activities, thereby removing the most lucrative demographics for advertisers from the household.
I'm glad. I was getting worried that it was losing ratings. I'm really glad they've returned to the scifi stuff like they use to do, rather than the Olivia/Peter romance.
I'm sad that it's going to end, but glad that they at least know ahead of time and can prepare the season accordingly, unlike, well all of Whedon's shows.

EDIT: Oh that was mentioned before
However, I have a new love...
New season had a nice start, can't wait for next week.
Yea, they haven't been bad, but I stopped watching. I just don't care anymore.
I'm pretty sure it'll be caught up in the wave of cancellations that usually happen around this time.

Walter is what makes the show. Olive can run about doing all she has to, but once they start messing with Walter, thats it, its on...

Yeah I think they're going to kill the show soon.
