Hello! I currently study Game Graphic at The Game Academy in Malmo Sweden. I usually post up my things at my blog but none is reading it so it would be better to post up in popular forums instead. It is first time for me posting a sketchbook in forums. So I can start over here at polycount. I hope I understood that sketchbook is for anything that is involved with 2d and 3d.

pretty good amount of work so far, however to me they feel 'overly textured'
try working on your main forms and line more first to establish the content. you're rendering a lot but much of it feels like it is getting lost. try implementing points of interest/focal points in each composition.
that being said, try to put more thought into the actual composition itself as well.
the coloring itself also feels somewhat flat, despite all the rendering. try to learn more about color in general and how it works in the world. a blatant example would be the predator piece you have.. the armor is not being affected by the environment around it whatsoever. same with the warrior guy. in fact, I don't think there's any lighting in that one. establish a light source and stick to it.
I cannot recommend enough watching Practical Light and Color by Jeremy Vickery.

keep it up. I'm interesting in seeing how you progress.
overall, pretty sweet dude.
Do you have any advice on drawing landskapes? From where have you learned your techniques?
Here is a link to my recorded spider tank paint.

Maybe one of my last painting using custom brushes.
speedpaint 30min
approx 5h at school.
a speedpaint before I go:D
one question though- are they all photo comps, or are there some pieces of other concept art mixed in there too? it looks a little bit like it, and if so you'll need to be very careful about your sources.
for example, one of your robot pics looks like it has chunks of a wh40k dreadnought cut in there? and others have a sort of mix of painting styles too, maybe some transformers robot bits mixed in? one looks like a paintover of last years dom war winner.
i like the last one better, as it looks more cohesive and like you've painted it all
edit: on a positive note, you're clearly passionate and have talent, which is why it seems a shame to use other stuff as a crutch- the real exciting stuff comes from developing your own style and techniques
I havent done so many interiors maybe I start with some:) First one sux as always:D
nice color work, i wont say its perfect, but it sure show a lot of potential
the last speed paint seam a bit to bloby, it feel like you used always the same brush size, but the color compositon is nice
This one is also a church it took 30min
And this one took me 25min
I can't really give much crit because I'm not very good at painting but just wanted to post some words of encouragement.
when i did first look on the name of thread- i was in shock, thought: at last DanielC is posting here! hehe)
Just for keeping it going I painted something I got bored on environments for a while just some random. Sketch things yea!
Some sketchy stuff
One on the left is 100% opacity and one on the right is 50% opacity what a difference.
